Vanaja Rama and Associates, Occupational Therapists offers detailed and comprehensive medico-legal evaluations, functional capacity evaluations, vocational assessments and in situ work assessments.
Our principal therapist has 25 years of experience. She began case management on a part-time basis in her 3rd year of study and has 23 years of qualified experience.
The practice has built up a battery of assessment tools from standardized tests to practical processes and procedures incorporating home and work visits when necessary. The provision of detailed reports and appropriate recommendations are undertaken based on critical evaluation of the patient and extensive medical and vocational research.
Ms Rama has been in private practice for 21 years and remains the driving force behind Vanaja Rama and associates and remains a mentor to all the other highly qualified therapists.
We are a predominantly female practice but with one male. We are passionate about women empowerment and while our staff is completely competent to perform their various job functions, we believe in continual development.
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
The practice is located at G03 Musgrave Park, 18 Musgrave Road, Musgrave in Durban. The building is on a major bus and taxi route and is centrally located. Musgrave Park has access to safe, ample parking as well as disability parking and disability ablution facilities. The practice is located on the ground floor indicating that there is stairless access, with no need for reliance on elevators. The practice has a large reception area, a private administration accounts office, 2 confidential filing rooms, a boardroom and 4 therapy and assessment rooms.
